Discover Mental Wellness with Online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Ottawa

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and stuck in negative patterns of thinking and behaving. But what if there was a way to make positive changes in your life, by starting with your mind? That's where Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) comes in. CBT has become a powerful tool for individuals seeking to improve their mental well-being and achieve their goals.

According to a study by Ottawa Public Health (2018), 728,938 Ottawa residents accessed mental health services, and these statistics don’t account for private therapy clinics like Virtual CBT. We can likely assume that close to a million Ottawa residents access mental health services every year which makes up more than half of the population of Ottawa.

What is CBT?

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to mental health issues.

  • It is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected and that by changing one, we can positively impact others.

  • CBT counselling is typically short-term and goal-oriented, with the therapist and client working together to identify specific problems and develop strategies to address them.

How Will CBT Help Me?

  • By understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions, CBT empowers you to break free from negative cycles and adopt healthier patterns of thinking and behaving.

  • Through personalized sessions with trained therapists, Ottawa residents can learn practical strategies to challenge unhelpful beliefs, manage stress and anxiety, and improve their overall quality of life.

  • CBT has proven effective in treating a range of mental health issues, including depression, phobias, and post-traumatic stress disorder. With its evidence-based approach and focus on active participation, CBT offers a path toward personal growth and lasting change.

  • If you're ready to unlock your potential and embark on a journey of self-discovery, CBT may be the solution you've been searching for in Ottawa. Take the first step today and start living the life you deserve.

Be Open and Honest Honesty with your Psychotherapist

In your first session, it's crucial to be yourself and share openly with your therapist. We understand that you may not want to share everything at first - but make sure to be honest about your symptoms.

Addressing Your Curiosities and Concerns about Psychotherapy
